About Erik

I have a long history with the technology and design that dates back to the early 90s while in graduate school where I studied cartography, the art and science of map making. During this time I learned the foundations of graphic design and the technology required to create early digital maps.

With the shift away from print, I concentrated on web based technologies for digital mapping. Since then I have worked in just about every aspect of building web applications as a back end engineer, software developer, and designer.

I missed being creative, so after a few years I turned my photography hobby into a business after studying at the New England School of Photography. As a freelancer, I worked with well over 100 commercial and private clients on a variety of projects over several years.

Now I'm enjoying working with software development and design to help small businesses and non-profits with their Internet presence.
